Hunk'er down
As I wait for Ike, I just wanted to write a quick note. I am on the North side of town, in Porter, TX. A little wind, a little rain, a lot of waiting. Ike is set to hit Houston this evening. I am staying with a Hurricane veteran, and am confident all will go well for us here. There has been no call for evacuation this far from the coast, but the official word is to "Hunk'er down!"
