I meant to blog last night but the day got away from me. Dad had a great day yesterday. He got up and walked 3 times and is ready for more today. He has only insulin on his pole and we will get rid of that today. He didn't have any appetite so he was drinking lots of Ensure to get his nutrition. This morning he ate eggs and bacon for breakfast . . . and coffee, of course. He says that things don't "taste", but he didn't enjoy the Ensure so we are going to eat for "survival" not taste today! ; )
One of the PA's was just here and said we may be moving back to a regular floor today. That is one step away from home!! Yeehaw!
