Dad has asked for the remote control. We knew that once he asked for the TV to be on, we would have hit a milestone! He is now working on how to manage the clicker - good distraction for him!
His kidneys are working better. He is now supposed to be 3 hours on the pap machine and one hour off. He is going to get a PICC line so they can start putting some nutrition into him. All good news. They think he may be in ICU one more day for sure.
I wanted to take a picture of him sitting up in bed, but he didn't really like that idea. I may sneak one later when he is sleeping. He looks so much better. We are very thankful!

Another great sign and definately good news! We will continue to pray for his movement out of ICU, back in to a regular room. Glad to hear the kidneys are working better and hope it is the continued signs of the body adapting to major trama it has gone through. Give Jim a hug from us and we look forward to more good news from all of you. Please tell Rhonda we are also praying for all of you as you provide Jim the comfort of your continued presence during his recovery. I am sure your continued presence is very comforting to your dad!
