I just talked to Mom; Dad is doing well this morning. She did have some excitement at around midnight. Dad's heart went into afib. The surgeon had told us that this was a possibility and it was likely to happen on Saturday. I love it that he called that!
Anyway, they were able to get it under control with medicine.
Mom was able to get some rest but she sounds very tired. Our family is going to have some worship/devotion time this morning and then Don is going to take me and get her. We want to be there when the surgeon does rounds at about 9:30ish. Please continue to pray for Mom. She needs some rest today.
And please continue to pray for Dad. I will do another post once I am there and know more. I am praying that the Lord returns blessings to all of you, over and beyond anything you can imagine, for the prayer coverage that you are providing for Dad. We strongly believe in the power of prayer and a faithful God who listens. Thank you!
