We are here at the Home of Life in San Andreas safe and sound. The second half of our flight went very well. Just a short wait at the airport for the bus to come and all of our bags to get loaded and off we went to Seteca (our lodging for the night). The bus was again loaded and we were off before 8:00.
The bus ride was uneventful but bumpy as always. After ariving at the home, lunch was served. This was followed by introductions and some time to get oriented. We spent this morning training for our time when the workers will leave for their paseo (trip). LOTS to do with all these kids. Several different school schedules and chores and meals and laundry and more meals and more laundry! It is overwhelming, but we brought lots of help!
Please be praying for continued health for our team. Also, peace in the midst of chaos as we 'take over' the home. Everyone has jumped into getting to know the kids and it is very fun to get to see!
